Con Artist and Thief Helping Political Campaigns
As early elections start, certain people become part of political campaigns. Today, we would like to bring light to another profile: we got the sniff of one such imposter who claimed to remove tickets and help politicians.
The con artist is none other than La Joya politiquera Sylvia Flores is a mastermind. Her social media is filled with images of her with eminent politicians, and brags about her name in political campaigns. Did she steal from them too or is she helping them steal? Well, so far, no clue, but who knows?
An Hidalgo County public record search revealed her true colors as apparently there are several cases filed against her. We confirmed Sylvia Flores has been to jail multiple times for felonies like credit card abuse, theft charge of $2500.00 or more, and property theft.
For Example, she has been known to con people into giving her cash for safekeeping and never returning it. She has been arrested and remains on probation for theft of property.
In a similar scam, she conned someone’s father to pay her $3,500. She claimed to be working in the federal building and assured them that the judge would remove the tickets. The charges never dropped, and she faced the consequences of conning an innocent man.
The internet and this lady lies! A lot of naïve people fall for the same trap. Just because someone has a social media profile highlighting their contacts in higher places doesn’t mean it’s coming from a credible source. Not everyone who claims to have your tickets removed is telling the truth. Who knows which candidates she has conned as a result of being a part of their political campaign?
